Joe Shymanski leads the in-house photography operation at The Jake Group where he supports the creative team with crisp, often amusing and always perfectly rendered images. Joe has been making his living capturing the world on film for over 10 years specializing in fine art, event, travel, and portraiture. Joe's images have been featured in Harper's, The Washingtonian, and The Washington Post among other publications.

Joe received his B.A. in History and Psychology from the University of Michigan.

When Joe's not taking photos for TJG, you can find him weekends at Washington's Eastern Market on Capitol Hill where he sells his fine art and architectural photography.
